Jaipur. Thieves stole jewelery and cash worth lakhs of rupees by breaking the locks of two abandoned houses in Jawahar Nagar and Harmada police station areas. Police have started investigation after registering a report.

Police said that Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Sector 4 Jawahar Nagar, has lodged a report at Jawahar Nagar police station. Went out for some work on Wednesday afternoon. Thieves targeted the deserted house in broad daylight. The thieves entered inside by breaking the lock of the house. Two gold rings, two chains, two ear drops, 4 coins, two lockets, one ring, four silver anklet sets, two ear drops, four nose rings, two watches and 35 thousand rupees kept in the locker of the cupboard. Taxes taken.

Here in Harmada police station, Krishna Vihar street number 2 Maceda Harmada resident Kaushal Kumar has filed a report. On May 25, he went to his relatives along with his family. After finding a deserted house, the thieves broke the locks and carried out the crime. The thieves stole ₹ 50000, gold chain, ring and silver ornaments kept in the cupboard. The victims came to know about the theft when they returned late on Wednesday evening. The police reached the information and started searching for the thieves after collecting evidence from the spot.
