Mahoba. A former village head, a former Block Development Council (BDC) member and four others have been accused of allegedly stripping and thrashing a former village head, a former Block Development Council (BDC) member and four others over a panchayat election rivalry in Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba district. Hiralal further alleged that when his wife came in search of him, the accused gave her casteist abuses.

Additional SP Mahoba, R.K. Gautam denied that the clothes of the victims were taken off.

He said that the investigation of the matter is on.
