Jaipur. State Cooperative Minister Uday Lal Anjana said that 82809 complaints have been received on the Raj Sahakar Portal set up to receive complaints against irregularities in credit cooperative societies. For these complaints, the process of filing Istgasa has been started by declaring 33 district courts as designated courts under the Buds Act-2019.
Anjana informed that so far out of 82809 complaints, notices have been issued to the investors by the District Deputy Registrar in 51042 cases and documents are being taken. 306 Istgas have been filed against the State Credit Co-operative Societies, while the Central Registrar has not yet given other necessary information in respect of 48 Multi-State Credit Co-operative Societies, including the registration of the societies, the correspondence and the authentic copy of the responsible persons. The Central Registrar has been informed in this regard. Istgasa will also be filed against these societies on receipt of the desired documents.
The Cooperation Minister informed that under the Chief Minister’s Budget Announcement 2021-22, a Vigilance Authority is being constituted to protect the investors of Multi State Credit Co-operative Societies from fraud in future. The designations of the member officers have been received from the Law Department and Director General of Police, orders for the formation of the authority will be issued soon. He told that such credit societies which are not registered but deposits are being taken by them, then do not deal with them for transactions.
Anjana said that the general public is advised not to fall prey to the lucrative schemes of credit societies and interest rates. Do not make any deposits and withdrawals from unregistered credit societies and if the investor is a victim of fraud, immediately register your complaint on the Raj Sahakar Portal.
