Three laborers were killed in a road accident that took place near the CDF post on Anupshahr Highway in Jawan area late on Thursday. The trio were returning to the nursery located in Chherat after having their food from the hotel on a bike. Then all three died on the spot after the bike rammed into a truck laden with bars. The police have sent the three bodies to the post-mortem centre. At the same time, after identification, their families have been informed.

According to the police, three laborers had brought saplings from outside at the nursery located in Chherat. After working late in the night, he came to the dhaba near the FM tower to have food. From here the three were going back to the nursery on the bike. Then as soon as he crossed the CDF post, a speeding bike rammed into the truck parked at around 10 pm. All three fell on the spot. On the information of passers-by, the police reached the outpost. From where the three were immediately brought to the district hospital by ambulance. Where doctors declared all three dead.

During this, the police identified the three on the basis of the papers and mobiles found in the pockets. All three have been identified as Akhilesh (25) son Surajpal Singh and Sajid (24) son Ahmed Sher Khan, resident of Papri village of Kayamganj police station in Farrukhabad, Saurabh (30) son Pintu, resident of Lalgarhi village of Etah Kotwali countryside. The families of all three have been informed. According to Inspector Jawan Jitendra Singh, the post-mortem of the dead bodies will be done after the arrival of the families. A police team has also been sent to inquire about nursery. Not much information has been received from there till now.
